Chitral — In an unusual but pleasingly surprising development, the electric supply from Wapda sources to Chitral town has improved tremendously. Not only has power load shedding time reduced but the voltage is also being served at the correct strength. The otherwise notorious organisation has of late made improvements in it’s affairs and there has appeared some semblance of checks and balance and some bit accountability in the organisation.
May be a coincidence, but the condition of electric supply to Chitral has improved immediately after retirement of the notorious Wapda superintendant Ghulam Rashid, who retired after completing over 40 years continuous service tenure in Chitral. — CN report, 25 Oct 2016.
