Chitral --:Down pour starting Tuesday night  has hit different parts of the valley hard, blocking roads and flooding streams washing away houses etc but so far no human loss has been reported. .In one case flood erupted in Karimabad valley where it washed away 5 bridges. Garamchishma road is blocked due to this flood. Besides it main Booni road was also blocked at Zait village as a result traffic was suspended between Tehsil Mastuj and Chitral. More over main Peshawar Chitral road was also blocked at Ziarat village and there is no traffic between Peshawar. Project Director of Lowari tunnel told this scribe that  NHA was trying to remove debris at Mirgah and Mina Khwar to restore traffic between Chitral and Peshawar. --(GH Farooqi, 28 July 10)
