Anti Lala propaganda slated

 

Chitral-- Chitralis have taken strong exception to a propaganda video clip against Administrator Karachi Lala Fazl ur Rehman, being promoted by a section of the press. Talking to CN, many educated Chitralis said vested forces in Karachi have not been able to digest a Chitrali being made their Administrator and are out to belittle the gentleman who apparently has no political/mafia backing in a pool infested by crocodiles. They said, these elements welcome big criminals as their leaders, but cannot digest a humble person rising to an administrator's position through sheer ability and  hard work. Relatives of Lala Fazal ur Rehman said, being ill, he was under heavy medication with tranquilisers and not drunk as reported in the video, and he is under treatment in a hospital.. --(CN report, 26 Apr 10)
