Enhancing Readers
participation -letter
Dear Sir,
I have a suggestion
as I regularly visit, like, and also make occasional
contribution to your online paper. I also visit Indian sites on
daily basis. What I want to suggest is the method of engaging the
visitors of these Indian sites. They always provide space for their
visitors at the end of every news story titled as COMMENTS. These
comments are displayed within minutes after having been moderated by
the editorial team. Ironically no Pakistani online paper has such
facility spot for us , not counting some sporadic blogs. . One of
the editors of India Today, Prabhahu replies to the queries of
visitors in Q&A Corner on the page.
Yours is the the
right site to have Q&A session with your readers and to allot space
for the comments. e.g today’s letter story about “Nura Kushti”,
contributed by Mr. Sultan Mehmood is one topic which, if provided
allotment, can collect dozens of comments from readers.
I hope you will actively consider the suggestion.
Chitralis are keen
to contact each other; it is evident from their participation in
every debate on
Facebook and will be more than glad to have a platform on
ChitralNews.Com.

Thankyou Ejaz
Sahib, for a pertinent suggestion.
Although we do not yet have a
'comment' facility below each particular news story or each letter,
but we do publish most comments in the form of letters on the same
page above the subject, story. At the moment Chitral News
does not have any separate blog on any network, If any blog exists
elsewhere by the name of Chitral News, it is not ours, nor are we
responsible for it. When we have the comment facility or a
blog facility we will advertise it on chitralnews.com.
............ Thanks, Editor
