CM KPK announces to admit his children in govt schools

PESHAWAR -UNS : Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Mehmood Khan on Friday announced to admit his children to government-run schools in the province.

Addressing a ceremony marking the start of ?Basta Uthao, School Aao? campaign, the CM vowed to better the conditions and education standards of government-run schools in the province in line with PM Imran Khan?s vision and said that soon his children too will be admitted in government schools.

The ?Basta Uthao, School Aao? campaign is aimed at promoting education by urging parents to admit their children to schools and targets 0.8million children this year.

?We can proudly say that our province was well ahead of other provinces in education sector in past five years as Atif Khan (PTI leader former KP education minister) performed really well as education minister,? said Mehmood Khan.

He also urged the audience at Government Shaheed Hasnain Higher Secondary School to take his message to other people in the province so government can ensure more and more young children join schools. .. Source

  1. A big deal indeed! A grand step towards embracing the spirit of the state of Madina. Only if the CM can stand by his decision for the next five years. A further enforcement to this spirit would be to make it compulsory for Govt servants to put their children in Govt schools and get their families treated in Govt hospitals.
