  1. Ismailis use the word “Alayhi as-salam” for all imams beginning with Imam Ali and Imam Hussain and their descendants, which the Aga Khan is. It means “peace be upon him”. If people have a problem with that, they should protest against Shias all over Pakistan because they use that phrase for their imams all the time. I don’t think one sect has a monopoly over the word “Alayhi as-salam”. I don’t understand what kind of a society Chitral is where a person cannot even respect their own spiritual leader.

  2. When the Law enforcing agencies including the district administration are sincere then there is no problem of of law and order and any untoward situation can be controlled. In 1982 the district administration of the time did not play a positive role in controlling the riot, rather some allege that it stoked the fire.

  3. Our administrative machinery should follow concept of punishment instead of making compromise with agitators if they violate rule of law. Tackling Faizabad dharna has created very bad impression and it has become a norm everywhere that a few people gather in one place and challenge writ of the state through agitation and mob power. If strict action is not taken against mob-violence this situation will continue and create serious administrative problem. Secondly action should also be taken under cyber crime act against those people who are using social media to create unrest in the society.
