Wheat supply to Chitral be resumed immediately

Chitral --Wheat grain supply to Chitral be immediately resumed otherwise during the coming winter months roads in upper Chitral will close down and there would be scarcity of the essential commodity there. This was stated by PTI leader Abdul Latif at a press conference. here. He was accompanied by Haji Sultan and others. Latif said, this year due to transparent auction of the carriage Rs 60 million have been saved from the national treasury but vested interests including a local MPA in connivance with the food department officials is hindering the timely supply to fail the transparent system of auction  and grab the carriage for himself as per previous practice.  He demanded of the chief minister and KP food minister to enquire about the same and set things right.. -- Muhkam Ayuni,14 Sep 2011.)
