All parties meeting again threatens protest on tunnel denial

Chitral — An All parties meeting chaired by District Naib Nazim Molana Abdul Shakoor has rejected the once a week opening of Lowari tunnel and has demanded four hour daily opening or two full days opening of the tunnel. The participants said the govt should not test the patience of hard pressed Chitralis. They gave three days ultimatum to the government to accept their demand failing which the Chitrali people will launch a severe protest and the responsibility of it would be on the govt and NHA, they said. — CN report, 13 Dec 2016

  1. @ Sarfaraz, Dear, we should not loose confidence rather we must strengthen unity among the Chitrali people for a peaceful movement. We are not begging. We just demand to provide the available facility of transport for a limited time in view of the prevailing hard season of snow falling. We have a sanguine hope the authorities will realize the situation in the larger interest of the public and provide maximum possible facility of transport via Lowari Tunnel.
