PM’s Package being mis-implemented -view

Prime Minister Gilani gave special package for the writing off loans to the affectees of terrorism in Malakand Division. According to subsequent notification of State Bank on the subject, all kinds of loans were to be written off as on 31-12-2009. In this regard refund was allowed to the parties who paid their loans upto 2-2-2011. It is pity that Bank authorities have now hijacked the Pm’s Package and declining refund of paid up loans, which are covered under the adjustment package. I seems that Pm’s package was to punish the performing parties after the terrorist attacks and worst kind of unrest in the region, which should not be the case. -- Bashir Hussain Azad,, 28 Mar 2011
