Kalash prepare for 'Chilum Jusht'

Chitral-- The Kalash tribe living in the three valleys of Chitral also called Kafristan (land of the pagans) by many, are all set to celebrate their spring festival called 'Chilum Jusht' or 'Joshi' .from 14-16 may.

This year they have additional reason to celebrate as their friend and helper Athanasis the Greek social worker , was released by his captors some times ago. Many tourists both local and foreign are expected to witness the festival which will climax at Bumburet the larger of the three valleys, on 16 May.
