Pakistan day surprise for Chitral town  

Chitral --This Pakistan day on 23 March augured well for Chitral town residents when they did not undergo the usual torture of unspecified power outage. As a matter of fact electricity supply has been regular and uninterrupted for the last 48 hours which is unbelievable and could only happen on a joyous occasion like Pakistan day. Cricket fans and crazies, both of whom are in considerable numbers in Chitral, enjoyed uninterrupted match viewing on their TVs specially when Pakistan won the quarter finals convincingly after a long time. Chitral town residents have thanked electricity management for the good show for two days and said if it can be done for two days it can be done for 365 days, provided the will is there.  .-- CN report, 24 Mar 2011
