Water Management dept funds to lapse

 

Chitral -- It has been learnt that District Water Management department funds amounting to Rs 8593442/- would be lapsing on 30 June due being unutilized. by the department. It was also learnt that no project has been undertaken in the last three years. Four class IV servants of down country have been employed after locals employed in these posts were earlier terminated on program closing news but the program having being re-extended the locals were coolly replaced with outsiders. -- CN report, 07 June 2011.
