Man survives poisonous snake bite

Chitral -- Muhammad Ali Shah of Faizabad Hone Chitral town, miraculously survived a venomous snake bite  while working in his fields. He says his life was saved because of God's grace and the positive attitude of the Frontier Corps hospital, where "although I was not entitled I was entertained on humanitarian basis and given the anti venom injections on condition of replacement, which led to my eventual recovery" he said.

He lamented that the anti-venom injection was not available in the District headquarter hospital and two people recently including one girl from Bumburate and one man from upper Chitral had died after being brought to the DHQ.
