MNA ensures fund allocation for projects

 

Chitral -- According to a press release the MNA Chitral Shahzada Mohiuddin requested the Prime Minister of Pakistan and Deputy Chairman of the plannning commision to allocate funds for the two mega projects initiated by the federal government in District Chitral, i.e Buni Buzund (Torkhow Road) and Buni Shandur Road. MNA started struggle to save these vital projects after hearing the news that more than half of the schemes started by federal government through the Public Sector Development Projects were being closed due to lack of funds. How ever the Mega projects of Chitral District were not eliminated due to his efforts and the federal government has included Buni Buzund (torkhow road) and Buni Shandur (both are mettaling and widening projects) in the list of PSDP. Rs.150 million have been allocated for Buni Shandur Road and Rs 100 milllion have been allocated for Torkhow road in the present budget for the fiscal year 2011-2012 -- Idrees Hayat, 05 June 2011.
