Man miraculously survives mountain fall

Chitral-- A  55 year old shepherd .miraculously escaped after tumbling hundreds of feet down the Kari mountain 10 km North of Chitral town. The shepherd was in the mountain pasture tending sheep, when  he decided to further climb the mountain to get oak wood for burning. and there is when he tumbled. In the evening when he did not return home, the villagers set out to search for him and finally found him grappling for life in a plain area which had broken his fall. He was rushed to the hospital and is under treatment. -- CN report, 18 May 2011.
