Workshop for Government Officials Held

Mr. Fazal Malik, Manger Institutional Development, Aga Khan Rural Support Programme (AKRSP) has said that the government, civil society and private sector working together could address the development issues in Chitral. He said this while speaking at the conclusion of two day workshop on Monitoring and Evaluation organized by Aga Khan Planning and Building Service, Pakistan (AKPBSP) for government officials from line department at a local hotel here in Chitral.
He further said that the civil society and private sector could not achieve the objectives of the development without support of the government. He appreciated the efforts of AKPBSP for holding the workshop on an important topic and he also praised the government officials for their participation in the workshop. The officials from the following departments participated in the workshop: Fisheries, Social Welfare, Finance, DCO office, Education, TMA, Wild Life, Settlement and Forest. Mrs. Nahida Manager Monitoring and Evaluation Gilgit facilitated the workshop.
At the end, the Chief Guest, Mr. Fazal Malik distributed certificates among the participants. Mr. Muhammad karam thanked the government officials for sparing time from their engagements and participating in the workshop.  -- CN report 14 May 2011..
