Judge removed on corruption charges

Chitral -- Additional District and Sessions Judge and Izafi Zilla Qazi Chitral Asif Nawaz has been dismissed from service on the orders of the Chief Justice Peshawar High Court. He was accused of corruption and accepting bribes while deciding cases. Different Bars had sent resolutions against his performance and people in general were accusing him of desecrating the noble duty of dispensing Justice.

People have widely hailed the bold step to cleanse the Judiciary and those who have been aggrieved by his judgments on the basis of which he has been removed, have demanded to declare all his rulings null and void. and have fresh rulings served on such cases. --(CN report)
