Power breakdowns problem solved

Chitral --. Electricity supply to Chitral town has been smooth and regular since the last one week even during heavy rainfall of Sunday whole day and night. This is an incredible performance from the electricity department given its past miserable record. The credit without doubt goes to the new resident Engineer of the town power house who upon taking charge took upon himself to repair the unserviceable generators at the power house and now the electric supply flows smoothly to the town. Chairman Electricity Restoration Committee Chitral Town, Wg Cdr (r) Fardad Ali Shah and members of the committee have thanked the department, particularly the Resident Engineer power house for putting the committee 'out of job', by solving the problem at least for the present, and hoped that the good performance would continue. -- (CN report, 28 Mar 2011)
