CM's flying visit to
Chitral
Chitral --Chief Minister KP Amir Haider Hoti
paid a flying visit to Chitral today Saturday.
The three hour visit was restricted to a
function at the Airport where addressing the
gathering the CM said he had come on
behalf of the Awami National party to kick start
the membership and organisational campaign of
the party.
The CM inaugurated
by unveiling plaque of water supply scheme for
Drosh at a cost of 111.156 million, water supply
scheme to Chitral City from Golain spring worth
rupees 310.30 million, examination Hall for
Government Girls Degree College Chitral, Hostel
for 100 students of Govt. Girls Degree College
Booni, Jeep able bridge at Mastuj River and also
inaugurated Dialysis machines of District
Headquarters Hospital Chitral. He announced
providing two buses to educational institutions
of Chitral which were facing transport problems.
He assured that he will meet Prime Minister and
will request for provision of funds for
completion of Lawari tunnel.
He announced that
146.5 million would be released for by pass road
and he directed Communication and Works
department to complete it within one year. He
announced for establishment of Girls Degree
College at Drosh. He said that their government
has increased number of police stations from 9
to 13 and had recruited 760 constables in police
to provide best opportunities of employment. He
said that they had raised firewood allowance for
9723 employees. He announced up-gradation of two
higher secondary schools, up-gradation of middle
schools from primary level, construction of 2
examination halls, construction of 4 schools and
4 Peoplescommunity health center. He directed
workers of ANP to indentify and nominate
deserving locations for this purposes. The Chief
Minister also announced establishment of 2 play
grounds and directed DCO Chitral to submit a
detail summary with its estimate to prepare PC-1
so as to allocate fund for this purpose.
