BB shaheed university establishes exams centres

Chitral -- .The Shaheed Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal Upper Dir has established as many as eight examination centers for its first-ever annual B.A./B.Sc. Part-I examination which is scheduled to
commence from first of June.

Sources in the university told this scribe on Friday that roll numbers have already been conveyed to both the regular and private candidates of the district two week before.

They said that two new examination centers were established in the remote areas of Shagram and Mastuj where hundreds of private candidates will be able to appear in the examination and will be spared from traveling to Booni and Chitral.

They said that supervision and invigilation staff for the conduction of the examinations have also been appointed in the examination centers purely on merit to weed out corruption and malpractices from the system.

The sources claimed that the university has decided to show zero tolerance towards the use of unfair means and cheating in the examination.

Meanwhile, the candidates, both private and regular, have eulogized the efforts of the university for timely conveying the roll numbers, arranging examination halls in equitable distances and making fool
proof arrangements.

They said that the credit goes to the vice-chancellor of the university Professor Dr. Jahandar Shah, controller of examinations Professor Muhammad Rose Khan and their team.. --Zahiruddin, 27 May 2011
