Fake milk proliferates Chitral Bazaars

Chitral -- Due to the rapid increase in population and decrease in cattle farming, people are taking more and more to tetra packed milk which come in various brands and packings. It has however been found that fake and adulterated milk has found its way to Chitral bazaars in a big way.  People are complaining of abnormal taste and after effects of such packaged milk which display the logo of well known companies like Nestle, Haleeb etc and are available everywhere instead of the genuine stuff. There is however no system to check any counterfeit item whether it be food stuff, cosmetics, fertilizers or engine oil, all of which are openly being sold in Chitral Bazaars. --(CN report, 14 Mar 2011)
