Poetess Basharat's book launched


Chitral --In the launching ceremony of a book containing the collection of poems written by a young poetess Basharat Jabeen here on Sunday, the speakers stressed on the need for social harmony and peace in the society and the goal can be achieved only by adhering to the tenets of Islam.

Titled ‘aseer Mustafa bun kar’, the book of poetry was eulogized for its ability to stir the thoughts and imaginations of the people by inculcating in them the love true love for the last messenger of Allah whose dignified life is a symbol of peace and amity.

They said that the world can be turned into a peaceful place to live in if the teachings preached throughout the life of the last prophet of God is acted upon in letter and spirit and the poetess has tried her utmost to successfully portray the life the prophet in the context of present scenario.

They commended her achievement for her excellent poetry in Urdu language although it was not her mother tongue and also urged the Federal Ministry of Religious Affairs to recommend it for National Seerat Award. The efforts of Fazle Karim were appreciated for his efforts to publish the book.

Those who spoke on the occasion included Qari Buzurg Shah Al-Azhari, Amir Khan Mir, Dr. Inayatullah Faizi, Professor Shamsun Nazar Hashmi, Naqeebullah Razi, Abdul Karim, Saleh Wali Azad, Javed Hayat.. -- Zahiruddin 22 May 2011..
