NAB team to visit
Chitral from 17-20 September
PESHAWAR: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
chapter Director General Brig (R) Muhammad Musaddiq Abbasi has
decided to send NAB officials to big cities of the province to
receive complaints and take action against corrupt officials,
government departments and private institutions which have committed
frauds with the people.
A press release on Monday said that NAB officials would put their
‘complaint boxes’ in offices of the district coordination officers
for general public to file their complaints against corruption. The
bureau has fixed schedules for the officials’ visits. They would
visit Dera Ismail Khan’s city on September 7 and 8, Bannu on
September 9 and 10, Kohat September 10, Mardan on September 15 and
16, Chitral on September 17 to 20, and Haripur and Abbottabad cities
on September 22 and 23.
The NAB has appealed to the general public and government officials
to register their complaints against the corrupt officials in
government departments, government institutions for receiving money
from the people through fraud, fake housing societies, bank frauds,
substandard government projects, tax fraud, bribe by the government
officials in recruitments, postings and transfers, officials who
made their assets through illegal means and against the travel
agents who collected money from pilgrims through frauds.
