Chitral -- Frontier Works Organisation, an Engineering arm of the Pakistan Army has started work on the tunnel approach roads and filling the ditches inside the tunnel on the orders of the Army chief. This was stated by MNA Chitral Shahzada Mohiuddin in an advertisement to the press. He said Prime Minister upon his request has approved 18 billion rupees for the tunnel project. He said if any one complains about ditches and water inside the tunnel he should be informed so hat he could ask the FWO to look after it. He also said that proper lighting would be ensured inside the tunnel and adequate electricity would be provided for the same. -- CN report 31 Oct 2011.
