BBU Sheringal Chitral Campus -letter
 

Vice-Chancellor of Benazir Bhutto University Sheringal Upper Dir has floated an idea of using the buildings of the 43-year-old Degree Collage of Chitral for opening Sheringal campus in Chitral. The proposal will be viable if the worthy Vice Chancellor spends some of his funds on the construction of new building on state land at Qaqlasht Upper Chitral. The site is suitable because there are 18 colleges in upper Chitral and there is no facility for postgraduate education. In Sheringal Upper Dir, there are only two Colleges and no single student is willing to take admission at postgraduate level. In lower Chitral, the Degree College has already been upgraded to post graduate level and duplication of the same facility in an encroached building will be disaster for future.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Governor Owais Ahmad Ghani may kindly take notice of the issue and give directives to concerned authorities for selecting suitable site for Benazir Bhutto Shaheed University, Sheringal in Chitral.
