Mastuj District needed -letter

Chitral is the largest district of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa in terms of territory. Due to its unwieldiness and ruggedness, it is not being administered effectively by the sole administrative machinery in the district. The bifurcation of Chitral into two separate districts therefore becomes indispensable for administrative convenience. Though it has been a long-standing aspiration of the inhabitants; yet the issue remained dormant due to the indifferent attitude of the  successive governments.

Its resuscitation by the Federation of Chitrali Journalists at a forum in Peshawar came as a fresh breath of air for the people of Chitral. It is hoped that the Journalist fraternity of Chitral will move heaven and earth in getting the long-standing issue resolved once and for all. It is because of the fact that the role of the media persons has assumed a gigantic proportion in the wake of their successful movement for the restoration of judiciary in Pakistan.
