'Fruits of democracy being savoured by the people'
It is shocking
that NWFP health department is engaged in
unhealthy practices of recruitment in case of
lady Health workers (LHWs).
Recently test and interviews
were held in Chitral and other parts of NWFP for
the posts of LHWs and supervisors. Merit lists
were furnished according to set criteria and
after completion of the process, now blue eyed
candidates of the rulers and their cronies have
came up. Directives are being issued to
accommodate the favorites of the rulers,
bureaucrats, and clerical staff instead of
following the merit list. If blue eyed
candidates had to be accommodated at all cost,
why the posts were advertised? And why test and
interviews were held?
It is my humble submission that until next
Martial law, all vacant posts be filled up by
MPAs, MNAs, bureaucrats and clerks without
advertising tests and interviews so that people
can taste the real fruits of democracy.
