Plight of Girls College Chitral

Now, we are living in the 21st Century which is boasting
of extermination of gender discrimination. In the development and
prosperity of any nation, contributions both male and female are
pre-requisites. The sitting Government is also propelling the 21st
century slogan and focusing on the female education from top to the
bottom.
However, it is pathetic to see the wretched condition of the Girls
Degree College Chitral, which is not only the sole Girls Degree College
in the District but also due to non-availability of the related-subject
lecturers seems like a desert and students future looks bleak rather
than wearing the ornaments of education. Two months back, I got
admission for my sister in the 3rd year (Elective English & Political
Science) subjects. After a week of sitting idle in their classes without
lectures they have been advised and compelled to adopt subjects like
Arabic or Urdu due to lack of other lecturers. having no option students
adopted the same subjects but ironically the Arabic subject is also
being taught by a male lecturer from the Degree College Chitral.
Therefore, it is brought into the notice of concerned authorities
especially Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan, to look
after welfare of the population of his own constituency and take up the
case with higher ups and post the related-subjects lecturers in the
College or at least those who have been appointed based on Zone-III must
be posted in the College and win the hearts of the public as well as the
poor students in the District. In this way our sisters and children
would be able to continue their studies in the subjects of their choice
and compete in every field of education.
