NWFP had remained a war zone
during last couple of years. The living conditions of inhabitants are
worsening day by day. District Chitral has suffered a lot during. When
you start from Lowari, the very first valley of Chitral towards upper
Chitral you will notice the green flags of our beloved country on the
graves of the brave martyred soldiers of Chitral who gave their lives in
Swat, Dir, Bajaur and Mohmand, defending their homeland during the last
two years.
Passengers from Chitral
travelling to Peshawar or other places of nwfp were butchered by
terrorists in different places. Chitral has suffered a lot due to
terrorism. The students belonging to Chitral living outside Chitral are
in distress conditions.
The nwfp government has
remitted all dues of students belonging to Malakand division but Chitral
was neglected not even a single student of Chitral has been relieved. My
question is that why Chitral has been left alone in this difficult
situation? Why the poor students of Chitral are not been relieved like
students belonging to other districts of Malakand? I appeal to the
federal an provisional government to remit the fee of poor students of
Chitral studying in different parts of nwfp this will bring relief and
happiness on their faces in difficult time.
This is our right and being
the inhabitants of Malakand division our problems should be solved on
priority basis in a short period of time. I demand that our MNA and our
provisional Minister should raise the issue on the floor of assemblies
and fight for our rights.

Rizwan Ali Roomi,
ex-President, CSWA,
