New drama at PIA office -letter

I've been reading in news papers about poor performance, mismanagement and nepotism at counters of PIA Office in Peshawar, Islamabad and Chitral, but unfortunately instead of improving the service they invent new methods to make a fool of the passengers. I would like to apprise the public about a new game invented by the Peshawar office & recently played on me.

According to the new game a person cannot reserve any seat for anyone until he will present the original National Identity Card of the traveler., After checking the NIC, the person at the counter will issue a reservation slip in hand writing on a plain paper without any stamp. Once the person will contact PIA counter with reservation slip to get the ticket he will be refused politely that our computer system doesn't show any reservation for you and we cannot issue any ticket on the basis of this slip.

The question which needs an answer is "Why do they need to play such foul games?". May be some of the readers shall be able to explain the exact reason, but what I understand is that they cannot refuse to issue tickets to those people who come with recommendations and to accommodate such 'privileged' persons, the PIA staff deletes the name of any passenger from the reservation list and the system obviously doesn't show any reservation for the original passenger.

So I would like to request all Chitralis through your esteemed online news site, that in order to reserve a seat in PIA offices please make sure that the reservation slip must be with a PIA stamp and never accept a reservation slip without a stamp to defeat the new drama of PIA office Peshawar.

Gulberg-Lahore.
