Bank doing a unique business

This is with reference to a letter published in Chitral News,
titled 'Bank doing a unique business' dated 03/06/08 by Ali
Akbar Khan from Torkhow. The branch of Habib bank in Torkhow valley
is the only bank having the facility of fax machine and has been
providing free service to all the account holders as well as non
account holders of the area. A lot of young people of the area sent
their documents without any charges. The above cited writer might
have any personal differences with the bank staff, that is why he
distorted the image of the bank and the staff by putting up a
baseless allegation. The writer of this letter has several times
used the fax facility from the bank and but never paid any kind of
charge to the bank. The people of entire Torkhow valley are indebted
for the cooperation of the Habib bank branch and we hope that the
bank and its staff would not be disappointed by the baseless
allegation and continue their support and corporation with the poor
people of this far flung area in future.
