Free Medical Camp held

CHITRAL, 12 May 08: .A free medical Camp was held here at Drosh by Hamza Foundation, welfare hospital and blood Services in collaboration with Young Star Development Organization (YSDO) and Lisail wal mahroom foundation. dozens of patients were examined and medicines worth thousands of rupees were distributed among the poor patients during free medical camp. Dr Fakhruz Zaman and lady Dr Sobia examined poor patients of the area. Inhabitants of Drosh area thanked YSDO and other organizations for arranging this free medical camp and demanded more such free medical camps in this remote area.

Seminar held in Madaklasht
 

CHITRAL, 12 May 08: A one day seminar on human and Women rights was held at Madaklasht. The workshop was arranged by Easy & Equitable Access to Justice Program for women of Chitral in collaboration with Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights Chitral funded by trocaire.  Speakers emphasized to treat male and female equally and said that an educated mother can further educate the whole family. They said that women are very important component of our society and we must care for their rights. (GH Farooqi)
