Four feared killed by avalanche

CHITRAL, 14 Feb, 09:  Seven local labourers of Dir working on the Lowari pass Dir side of the tunnel were hit by an avalanche Friday evening after returning to their nearby homes from work. Three were rescued alive and one dead body was retrieved, while three are still missing feared buried under the avalanche.   --(GH Farooqi)

Chitral paralyzed by complete power breakdown

CHITRAL, 14 Feb, 09: Complete power breakdown even from the local power house since the last 48 hrs has completely paralyzed the town. Little or no serious effort has been seen from the power management responsibles to restore power. Even the local hospital has been  without power since this long. --(GH Farooqi)
