CHITRAL, 03 May 08: Main Chitral-Peshawar road has been blocked at Broze due to land sliding, for the last 3 days. Dozens of loaded Trucks carrying goods from Peshawar are standing at Drosh and Broze on the road side waiting for the road to open. Utility store of Chitral is also empty and no essential item is available there. Light vehicles have been diverted through a very narrow and dangerous portion on the bank of Chitral River at Ayun village to reach Chitral instead of opening the main road. --(GH Farooqi)
