Minister's activities in Chitral

CHITRAL, 01 May 08: NWFP Minister for Population Welfare Saleem Khan inaugurated Casualty/Emergency Block at District Headquarters Hospital Chitral. He also inaugurated 'All Pakistan Clerks Association' (APCA) office.  Later on, he addressed the participants of a one day seminar on 'Reproductive Health' organized by Population welfare department. Member Provincial Assembly Haji Ghulam Muhammad besides other notables were present on the occasion.  Addressing the seminar he said that we are facing numerous problems due to indiscriminate increase in the population He ordered for detailing a coordination committee comprising of Heads of line departments, religious scholars, elite of the area and social workers for mechanizing a strategy to control the population. He also announced for opening a reproductive health center at Booni. --(GH Farooqi)
