Three killed in Lowari pass snow

CHITRAL, 06 April 08: Three persons were killed and one rescued in precarious condition on the Lowari pass. These ill fated persons were trying to cross the treacherous Lowari pass which has in the past killed scores of travelers trying to cross it to reach the other side. The dead include Amanullah of Bumbagh Kosht, Wazir Alam of Parkusap Mastuj and Gul  Nazar of Morder Kosht. The fourth person Abu Baker belonging to Islamabad was rescued in an unconscious state and is admitted at Drosh hospital. Till filing of this report only Amanullah's body had neen  retrieved. --(GH Farooqi)
