PPPP workers lambaste president, Secy

CHITRAL, 28 Feb 08: Colleagues and workers lambasted PPPP Chitral district president Zainul Abedin and Gen Secy Muhammad Hakim Advocate for being unfaithful to the party.  At a meeting called by the two to explain their position in the recent elections on Wednesday, colleagues openly condemned the pair for conspiring against the party and making it loose to benefit candidate of a rival party for whom they had soft corner. Dozens of party workers who barged  into the meeting hall demanded immediate removal of the president and the general secretary.

It may be noted that during the election campaign some days back, thousands of PPPP workers had in a huge public meeting at Drosh unanimously declared removal of Zainul Abedin on charges of being insincere to the party and had appointed Shafqat Hussain Advocate as interim president of the party.
