CHITRAL, 22 Feb 08: A one day seminar was held in Chitral Thursday, to celebrate the 'World Mother tongue Day'. The seminar was conducted by 'Anjuman Tarraqi Chitral' and it had three sessions. The first session was presided over by Amir Khan Mir while Sartaj Ahmad Khan Tehsil Nazim was the chief guest. The second session was presided over by Islamuddin whie Muhammad Ajmal Bhatti was the chief guest. The third session was presided over by Mukarram Shah while Zuhran Shah was the chief guest. Speakers  included Yousuf Shahzad president ATK, Dr Inayatullah Faizi, Gul Murad Khan, Abdul Majeed Qureshi, Moula Nigah, Naqibullah Razi, Abdul Salam,Muhammad Irfan, Muhammad Hussain, Zahiruddin, Javaid Hayat, Iqbaluddin Sahar, Saleh Wali Azad, Saddam Hussain, Shahzada Tanvirul Mulk. Speakers said it was very important to preserve one's mother tongue and 'Anjuman Tarraqi Khowar' is making plausible efforts in this direction which must be appreciated, they said. (BH Azad)
