PPPP rally castigates district president

CHITRAL, 13 Feb 08: A large rally of PPPP workers held in Drosh Tuesday, in support of independent candidate Sardar Muhammad Khan castigated the district PPPP president accusing him of being a confirmed hypocrite and a fifth columnist who had deliberately damaged the party at all crucial junctures including the present one.

Speakers accused the district president Zainul Abedin of engineering the controversial allocation of NA ticket to the present ticket holder and then even working against him clandestinely to the benefit of a third party. When a key speaker, Nazim Union Council Yarkhoon, Muhammad Wazir Khan, asked the gathering of thousands whether they wanted the district president to be removed, the crowd roared with the word "Immediately". 

The rally and public gathering which according to some observers was one of the largest ever held in Drosh resolved to vote for Sardar Muhammad Khan who they said was the true representative of the poor and the workers of the Pakistan peoples party. Haji Muhammad Shufa presided over the meeting which was addressed by founding members, cabinet members, Nazims and stalwarts of the party. (Chitral News report).
