Chitralis rejoice CJ reinstatement

CHITRAL, 20 July 07: Chitralis have welcomed the news of reinstatement of the suspended Chief Justice of Pakistan by the full bench of the supreme court and a feeling of momentary joy was felt on the faces of ordinary citizens who are bogged down these days by recurrent gloomy news. On hearing the news over the TV and radio channels, the Chitral Bar Association including president Legal Aid Forum for Human Rights Chitral (LAFH) distributed sweets amongst the people. Talking to local journalists, president Legal Aid Forum  said that this is a victory of human rights and he paid rich tributes to all members of the full bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan.  (GH Farooqi)
