Private schools shine, Govt schools disappoint

Abdur Rabbi tops Matric exams

 

CHITRAL, 20 July 07: According to the recently announced examination results of Annual SSC (matriculation), Private Schools in Chitral have done well overall while Govt Schools here have in general shown a pathetic result.

Abdur Rabbi, a student of Muslim Model School Chitral bagged first position in the district by securing 756 marks out of 900 in the SSC Annual examination 2007. He is the son of Fazal Qayum from the picturesque village of Ayun and aims to get higher education with the same zeal and fervour. The second position in the district went to the student of Langland’s Public School by 751 marks while the third position was bagged by Khurram Sarwar of Qutaiba Public School who obtained 750 marks. Orphan student shines in SSC exams

 

CHITRAL:20 July 07:  Faizul Azam son of Muhammad Azam (late) resident of Wardab Drosh a student of Muslim Model School Shahnigar Drosh secured 741 marks out of 900 in the SSC examinations and stood first in Drosh Tehsil and third in Chitral district.  Similarly other students of the same school also passed with brilliant marks. Inamul Haq son of  Mujahideen of Muslim Model School secured 730 marks, Imdadullah son of Abdullah secured 723 marks and Anees Ahmad secured 710 marks. Some 80 students of this school passed with A grade.  
 
Appeal for financial support:  Meanwhile Principal and Staff of Muslim Model School Drosh have appealed to President of Pakistan, Premier of Pakistan as well as Provincial chief Minister and other philanthropists to help a talented student of their school Faizul Azam son of Muhammad Azam who secured first position in  SSC Examination by obtaining 741 marks and stood first  in Tehsil Drosh and 3rd  position in Chitral district. They said that his  father has died some years ago and he is a very poor but talented student. They said while talking to local journalists that Faizul Azam is an orphan student and having no source to continue his further education while he is desirous to become an  Engineer and serve the nation. They appealed to all to support him financially so as to enable him to continue  his further education. Faizul Azam may be helped through M. Saleem Kamil Subject Specialist Government  Higher Secondary School Drosh or Tajuddin Principal Muslim Model School Shahnigar Drosh district Chitral.  (GH Farooqi)
