The participants of the meeting lamented the problems encountered last year this time during the VIP visit to Shandur festival. They said they welcomed the visit of VIP guests but added visits of president or Prime minister should bring joy to the people not problems like forced closure of the bazaar and imposition of a virtual of curfew like it was done last time. They said if the bazaar is to be closed we should know in advance so that we can store food items etc during the festival period.
