Glacier breakup causes destruction

CHITRAL, 29 Jun 07: A glacier breaking over Sonoghar has caused large scale destruction including wiping away three bridges. The road has been badly damaged at various places and the Chitral river is in a flood causing damages to river side agricultural land at Chuinj and other places. No loss of life has been reported so far. Details are awaited.
