Chitrali poets commend Bush 'shoeing'

CHITRAL, 30 Dec 08:  The shoe hurl of a journalist on President Bush in Iraq found expression in the poems of Khowar (Chitrali) poets which they recited in a mushaira (poems recitation sitting) held here on Tuesday under the auspices of Anjuman-e-Taraqqi Khowar Chitral. The poets termed the venture of the journalist as a heroic action to express the sentiments of Muslims all over the world for President Bush who is notorious for his anti-Muslim endeavors throughout his tenure in power. The poets who recited their poems included Iqbaluddin Sahar, Maula Nigah, Mohammad Irfan, Shahzada Tanveerul Mulk, Wali Zaman Masroor, Mueezuddin Behram, Rahim Baig Khaksar, Sharbalang Gudaz, Manzoorul Haq Haqi and others. --(Zahiruddin)
