12 perish in van topple

CHITRAL,10 June 07: Twelve persons died and at least six injured when a Peshawar-Chitral bound Toyota Hi Ace van carrying 17 passengers and the driver plunged into a ravine at the Malakand pass, Sunday morning 0200 hrs. Details of the deceased passengers are as follows:

1. Sajida Sahar d/o Mir Afzal r/o Chitral proper, 2. Amir Shahab s/o Amir Afzal r/o Chitral proper, 3. Shahnaz w/o Wazir Ahmad r/o Namli Virra Abottabad, 4. Abdur Rahman s/o Abdul Ghani r/o Kosht Chitral, 5. Matiur Rasool s/o Ghulam Rasool, r/o Shahgram teh Mastuj, 6. Muhamamad Wilayat s/o Noor Ahamad r/o Fateh Jang, 7. Wazir Ahmad s/o Bashir Ahmad, r/o Namli Mira Tehsil Abbotabad, 8. Rahmat Zarin, Rtd Subedar Drosh, Ilyas Ahmad s/o Rahmat Zarin,  r/o Drosh.. The other three dead bodies have not been identified yet.

The injured include Salih Ali Khwaja of Booni, Amir Sohail r/o chitral proper, Naseha Farhat, Laiba Asheen, Hamza Bano, Waheed razaq, Safdar,  all from Chitral Proper, who have been referred to LRH Peshawar. (Mian Mehboob Ali Shah)
