'Ride for health'planned at Shandur

CHITRAL,10 June 07: A horse mounted rally is planned at the forth coming Shandur festival to increase awareness about prevention of various threats to health including polio, hepatitis, aids, nutritional deficiency, mental health and drug addiction etc. This was disclosed by Former Director General Health NWFP, Dr Sardar Ul Mulk while talking to Chitral News.  The senior physician who also happens to be the first ever MBBS qualified doctor from Chitral said that besides the rally it is also planned to hold a five day psychiatric clinic at the DHQ hospital for psychic patients and drug addicts. He said first aid medical camps are also planned at Garam Chashma and Bumburet during this period.
