Six injured in road mishap

 

CHITRAL, 09 May 07:  CHITRAL:  Six persons were badly injured in a road accident Tuesday. The injured persons were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Chitral and  Chitral Scouts.  According to details, staff of Government Higher Secondary school Drosh were coming from Upper Chitral after attending a condolence meeting, when their vehicle reached Kari on the outskirts of Chitral town,  their van plunged into a deep ravine as a result  the following passengers  received injuries. Naseerud Din Senior English Teacher resident of Jinjeerat Drosh, Zaffar Ahmad Theology Teacher (Qari), Nasir Shah, Islamud Din and  Fazal Akbar. They were rushed to District Headquarters Hospital Chitral and Chitral Scouts hospital where their condition is reported out of danger.

 

Main Booni Chitral road remained blocked due to heavy rains / floods. However the road was later reopened. (GH Farooqi)
