Islamabad-Chitral flights from 15 May

CHITRAL, 11 Apr, 07: Islamabad-Chitral direct flights would start operating from 15 May. This was disclosed by Senior Vice President (QA) PIA, Javed A Khan, while talking to 'Chitral News' in Chitral Wednesday. The PIA senior executive said the airline has evaluated the feasibility of this service and found it would greatly benefit Chitrali passengers traveling to Chitral from the southern cities of Pakistan, besides encouraging tourists visit to the area.. He said the said service would also reduce load on the Peshawar Chitral route which would continue to operate as usual.

 Wg Cdr (r) Fardad Ali Shah thanked the SVP PIA for taking interest in addressing this pressing demand of Chitralis. He said it is time we look beyond the box in tackling  Chitral's predicaments and adopt a pragmatic approach to solve stubborn problems of this area.
