Insurance scam unearthed
CHITRAL, 03 Dec 08: Former
manager of Eastern Federal Insurance company Chitral branch, Sher Azam,
is absconding after swindling lacs of rupees from simple clients by
issuing them fake receipts for their premium deposits. A case of
Rs nine million misappropriation has been registered against him and
investigations are in progress. A rep of the company has arrived from
Peshawar to join in the investigation. (GH Farooqi)
