CHITRAL, 01 Nov 06: Public meeting called by MMA at Chitral bazaar strongly condemned the bombing of a seminary by security forces at Bajaur in which more than 80 people perished.

 

The meeting was presided over by Moulana Sher Aziz Amir Jamaat Islami and addressed amongst others by MNA Moulana Abdul Akbar Chitrali and MPA Moulana Abdur Rahman. Speakers were very bitter about the whole event and decried the US and President Musharraf holding them jointly responsible for the 'massacre'.

 

The meeting declaration demanded President Musharraf to accept responsibility for the incident and step down from offices of the President and Army chief.
